Overview

At Ulta Beauty, the Task Associate plays a vital role supporting operational excellence to enhance sales and guest experience. This position involves maintaining store fixtures stocked, upholding cleanliness standards, and completing assigned operational tasks. Working closely with the Merchandise and Operations Managers, the Task Associate focuses on performance metrics, fostering a supportive team atmosphere, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support retail goals by ensuring timely execution of store tasks and product availability for customers.
• Achieve compliance and operational benchmarks related to task management, shipment and restocking, merchandise displays, and inventory processes.
• Maintain consistent punctuality and attendance throughout scheduled shifts.
• Create an inclusive and supportive environment for coworkers and guests alike.
• Engage regularly in ongoing training and product education to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Follow all Ulta Beauty policies, including dress code and operational standards.
• Execute merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory counts, and shipment processing using company technology.
• Ensure assigned work areas are consistently replenished, organized, properly signed, and merchandise testers are available.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all store areas including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and employee break rooms.
• Protect company assets by observing loss prevention strategies and providing outstanding customer service.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or a comparable education-work combination is desirable.
• Proficiency in basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.

Working Conditions

• Continuous movement throughout the store during shifts.
• Frequent physical activities including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Regular lifting, carrying or moving items up to 25 pounds.
• Constant dexterity and coordination when handling objects during work.
