Role Overview

The Task Associate (TA) role centers on ensuring operational excellence to support sales objectives and enhance the customer experience. Key duties include stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned operational tasks. The TA works closely with the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, focusing on key areas of performance, teamwork, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the store in reaching retail targets by diligently completing assigned tasks and ensuring product availability.
• Meet operational compliance standards such as timely completion of task dashboards, shipment processing, merchandise resets, inventory procedures, and task execution.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an inclusive workplace by supporting teammates and serving all guests respectfully.
• Engage in ongoing brand and category training to promote professional growth and sales performance.
• Adhere strictly to Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and dress code.
• Execute merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, and inventory tasks using company technology tools.
• Uphold high standards of store presentation, including replenishing merchandise, signage, and tester availability.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention guidelines and delivering top-tier guest service.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned to support store excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education and work background preferred.
• Comfortable using basic technology, including point of sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions & Requirements

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule encompassing early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Physical requirements include prolonged standing and mobility, frequent bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to coordinate and manipulate objects continuously during shifts.
