Grocery Associate

Role Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Grocery Associate offers a valuable opportunity to build your retail and customer service experience. In this role, you will provide excellent customer assistance, uphold Walmart's core values, maintain the grocery department's organization, and support stocking and sales activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the grocery section efficiently.
• Perform stock rotation and inspect items for expiry dates.
• Ensure all products are correctly priced and labeled.
• Follow strict food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Adhere to correct processes regarding ordering, clearance sales, pricing adjustments, and product signage.
• Keep the grocery area fully stocked and prepared for customers.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations at all times.
• Handle merchandise stocking and downstocking, apply product protection when necessary, and set up or update shelf displays including modulars and flexible shelving.

Compensation

The starting hourly pay for this position is $16.05.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
