Position Summary

The Task Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence that supports sales and enhances guest experience. Responsibilities include stocking fixtures, ensuring cleanliness, and completing varied tasks as assigned. This role supports Merchandise and Operations Managers by focusing on performance metrics, team collaboration, and procedural compliance, requiring precision and adherence to established processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Help the store achieve or surpass retail targets by ensuring tasks are performed as planned and merchandise is available for customers.
• Fulfill compliance and execution objectives via task dashboards, managing shipment/replenishment, merchandise display setups, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an inclusive environment supporting colleagues and guests.
• Engage regularly in training programs, including brand and category education, to facilitate ongoing skill development and boost sales.
• Understand and comply with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards.
• Follow the prescribed dress code consistently.
• Conduct merchandise resets, planograms, marketing display setups, physical inventories, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Ensure operational excellence by keeping areas stocked, signed, faced, and testers available.
• Maintain pristine store conditions throughout sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Protect company assets by employing loss prevention methods and delivering outstanding guest service.
• Perform other assigned operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent educational and experiential background preferred.
• Proficient in using basic technology like Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Special Requirements

• Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Constant movement throughout the store during shifts.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Regular lifting or carrying of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Repetitive handling and coordination of objects during the shift.
