Role Summary

The Task Associate supports core sales operations by maintaining merchandising standards, ensuring inventory availability, and upholding store cleanliness. Reporting to the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, this position emphasizes operational performance, teamwork, and strict adherence to company standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support store retail goals by ensuring all planned tasks are completed and merchandise is available for guests.
• Achieve compliance and execution targets for operational processes including shipments, inventory counts, restocks, and merchandise setups.
• Regularly attend work with punctuality and reliability.
• Promote an inclusive work atmosphere that supports coworkers and customers alike.
• Participate actively in ongoing training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
• Follow Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and dress code consistently.
• Carry out merchandise resets, store displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing accurately using company technology.
• Maintain assigned work zones in a replenished, properly signed, and organized state with testers available.
• Keep excellent cleanliness and presentation standards in all store areas including sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention guidelines and delivering excellent customer service.
• Execute additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• A minimum of one year relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Comfortable using basic technology such as Point of Sale (POS) systems and Apple devices.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements and Working Conditions

• The role requires flexibility in work schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Physical demands include frequent standing, mobility throughout the store, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, and lifting or carrying items up to 25 pounds during shifts.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17 to $25 per hour, dependent on qualifications, experience, shift, and location. Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off and comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability. Part-time employees may access certain benefits such as dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
