Role Summary

The Task Associate is pivotal in sustaining operational excellence that supports sales efforts, ensuring a superior experience for all guests. By keeping merchandise stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing designated assignments, the TA backs the Merchandise and Operations Managers in focusing on performance metrics, team collaboration, and adherence to procedures. Precision and process compliance are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive store retail objectives by executing assigned tasks diligently and guaranteeing product availability.
• Ensure adherence to task dashboards and timely fulfillment of operational duties such as shipment processing, replenishment, merchandise arrangement, and inventory activities.
• Maintain regular and on-time attendance records.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere supportive of colleagues and customers alike.
• Engage continuously in training related to brands and product categories to enhance professional skills and boost sales.
• Abide by all company policies, procedures, and standards, including dress code regulations.
• Perform merchandise resets, planogram setups, marketing displays, and inventory tasks using Ulta Beauty’s technology and best practices.
• Keep assigned areas stocked, well-signed, neatly presented, with testers readily available.
• Maintain impeccable store condition encompassing sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Safeguard assets through loss prevention measures and deliver outstanding guest service.
• Complete other operational responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred education: High school diploma.
• Preferred experience: Minimum one year in a related role or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
• Required skills: Proficiency with basic technology such as POS systems and Apple devices, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Must be available for a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Continuous movement across the store during shifts.
• Frequent physical activities including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting.
• Regular lifting or moving of items weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Ongoing coordination and manual handling of objects.

The hourly wage ranges from $15.92 to $20.00, influenced by qualifications, experience, and location. Overtime pay applies as per law. Full-time employees have access to paid time off and a range of benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Part-time employees receive dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
