Position Overview

The Task Associate (TA) at Ulta Beauty plays a key role in ensuring smooth store operations aimed at enriching the guest experience and driving sales. The TA supports Merchandise and Operations Managers by focusing on operational performance, teamwork, and adherence to procedures. Key responsibilities include maintaining product displays, ensuring store cleanliness, and executing assigned duties with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Help achieve or surpass store sales targets by ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and merchandise is always available for purchase.
• Meet compliance standards for operational tasks such as shipment handling, inventory management, merchandise presentations, and task dashboard goals.
• Maintain consistent and timely attendance.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for coworkers and customers.
• Engage in continual education through training on brand and product categories to enhance professional skills and sales effectiveness.
• Follow Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and uphold dress code standards.
• Execute merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory audits, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Keep work areas replenished, well-signed, organized, and testers available for customer experience.
• Uphold exceptional store appearance and cleanliness across all areas including sales floor, restrooms, registers, backroom, and break spaces.
• Protect company assets by adhering to loss prevention policies and delivering outstanding guest service.
• Carry out additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant experience or a combination of education and related work experience preferred.
• Familiarity with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Work Conditions and Requirements

• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
• Physical demands include frequent movement throughout the store, standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting, and lifting or carrying items up to 25 pounds.
