Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a pivotal role in operational excellence to support sales objectives, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for every guest. This position focuses on maintaining merchandise availability, store cleanliness, and completing various assigned responsibilities. Under the guidance of the Merchandise and Operations Managers, the Task Associate emphasizes performance metrics, teamwork, and adherence to established processes and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support achieving or surpassing retail performance targets by timely task execution and ensuring product availability on the sales floor.
• Adhere to operational processes like shipment handling, inventory counts, merchandise resets, and task dashboard compliance to maintain store standards.
• Contribute positively to an inclusive and supportive work environment encouraging continuous learning and development through training on brands and product categories.
• Keep work areas stocked, signed, and organized, maintain tester availability, and ensure overall store cleanliness including restrooms, salesfloor, backrooms, and break areas.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, standards, and dress code, protecting company assets by implementing loss prevention practices and delivering excellent guest service.
• Execute other operational duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma preferred.
• Minimum of one year relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with basic technology including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment and Conditions

• Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• The role demands continuous mobility throughout the store with frequent standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds during shifts.
• Physical coordination and dexterity in handling merchandise are essential.
