Job Description

As a Tactical Security Guard, you will be actively patrolling areas such as retail outlets, airports, and security centers for the entire duration of your shift, requiring robust physical stamina and mobility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Secure critical locations by identifying and thwarting suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to potential threats or incidents, ensuring detailed documentation of all events.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during major incidents as necessary.
• Maintain vigilance on sales floors to discourage and prevent shoplifting.
• Implement the five-step observation protocol prior to any confrontation with potential shoplifters.
• Intercept individuals at store exits to recover stolen merchandise and issue verbal trespass warnings when needed.
• Focus efforts on deterrence and merchandise recovery when physical apprehension is not feasible.
• Assist in managing and de-escalating disturbances in public areas.
• Adhere strictly to all company rules and policies at every moment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Possession of a current valid security license is mandatory.
• Certification in First Aid is required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with coworkers and clients respectfully.
• Excellent customer service abilities to enhance client experience professionally.
• Capable of standing and walking throughout the entirety of shifts and training sessions.
