Job Responsibilities
- Keep abreast of the most recent regulatory standards and guarantee organizational compliance.
- Support the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager by compiling monthly reports on Global Reporting Indicators.
- Organize and manage the efficient functioning of fire stations, adhering strictly to established procedures.
- Deliver firefighting training sessions to both employees and contractors.
- Ensure all firefighting equipment, including appliances, pumps, and tenders, are regularly maintained and readily accessible.
- Perform guarding and interlocking assessments as well as spot checks throughout the site to verify compliance.
- Assist the EH&S Manager in conducting EH&S audits and reviews at various organizational levels.
- Coordinate environmental testing in line with legal requirements, EHS Integrated Management System (IMS), and company guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
- Holder of at least a bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Strong understanding of national environmental and health & safety legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with EH&S policies and operational procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of risk management concepts and their business applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction within and outside the organization.
