Job Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor will assist the Manager or Assistant Manager in managing daily housekeeping operations for our Serviced Residence. The role focuses on creating a welcoming environment resembling a home away from home by maintaining high cleanliness standards for residents' homes, public areas, and linen. The supervisor reports directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational standard reviews and help prepare management reports in line with company procedures.
- Encourage team collaboration and quality service while coordinating with other departments.
- Oversee room attendants, linen attendants, and contracted staff during daily housekeeping activities.
- Organize on-the-job training for staff and provide training for new room attendants.
- Conduct inspections of apartments and public areas to ensure maintenance and cleanliness meet high standards and resident satisfaction.
- Ensure seamless check-in and check-out experiences for all residents.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to the Engineering Department.
- Address resident inquiries and requirements, with particular attention to VIP guests.
- Plan and implement periodic cleaning schedules.
- Carry out monthly inventory counts of linens, uniforms, equipment, supplies, and other items.
- Monitor daily usage to prevent linen or equipment misuse.
- Step in to perform cleaning duties when necessary.
- Execute other related duties as assigned.
