We are currently seeking a Supervisor for our Galway location within Aramark Food Services. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, this position involves overseeing shift operations and assisting in managing catering services at a restaurant. This opportunity suits individuals passionate about food and service who flourish in a team setting, especially those with a proven background supervising high-street deli bars or similar environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support completion of operational goals by planning and assigning tasks effectively.
• Adhere to Aramark operational procedures and system policies.
• Enforce company policies and protocols to maintain retail operations standards.
• Assist in achieving unit targets, managing scorecards, and overseeing payroll activities.
• Conduct comprehensive 360-degree audits to ensure the unit is fully functional and visually appealing.
• Ensure team adherence to Aramark policies and procedures.
• Coordinate daily operations of front-of-house and back-of-house retail functions.
• Help conduct the monthly inventory and manage stock control.
• Implement health and safety policies according to Aramark standards.
• Analyze sales mixes to anticipate and fulfill current and future customer needs.
• Serve as the unit’s representative and role model for staff behavior and standards.
• Train new hires and existing staff on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensure retail merchandising and stock presentation align with approved planograms.
• Address customer complaints promptly and accurately.
• Act as lead operator during the absence of the Retail Manager.
• Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the Retail Manager.

Candidate Requirements

• Genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience with Food Hygiene practices such as HACCP.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills for effective interdepartmental collaboration.
• Dependable, outgoing personality with reliability.
• Ability to work flexibly, manage pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.
• Proven experience in merchandising, brand management, and running promotions is an advantage.
• Minimum one year in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a high-end café, coffee shop, or high street restaurant environment.
• Problem-solving capability and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.
