Street Scene Operative - Level 2

Overview

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is currently seeking to fill the position of Street Scene Operative Level 2. This is a full-time role with a 42-hour workweek, based onsite in Dudley Town Centre. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering superior street cleansing and grounds maintenance services aimed at enhancing the local environment and community experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out street cleansing activities such as litter picking and emptying bins across the Dudley area.
• Perform weed removal and detritus clearance to maintain cleanliness of public spaces.
• Assist toilet cleaning teams and contribute to mobile team operations as required.
• Adapt to a range of duties daily involving street cleansing and grounds maintenance tasks.
