Storekeeper

Position Overview

The storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing merchandise within designated departments at the facility. This includes proper labeling, stacking items on pallets or carts, and ensuring the efficient storage and handling of inventory items, especially perishables. Maintaining cleanliness and adherence to food safety regulations will be essential.

Key Duties

• Receive and store merchandise accurately for different departments.
• Label items correctly for smooth placement within the facility.
• Stack merchandise suitably on pallets or carts for storage or delivery.
• Complete inventory and supply requisition forms as needed.
• Notify supervisors promptly about low stock levels to ensure timely replenishment.
• Inspect delivery items for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality; reject damaged or incorrect goods.
• Follow food safety and handling standards rigorously across all relevant areas.
• Maintain and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove waste materials like empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated disposal zones.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions to management immediately.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Foster positive teamwork and support common objectives.
• Meet quality assurance standards consistently.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, maneuvering in confined or elevated spaces, and walking or standing for extended durations.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience necessary.
• No specific licenses or certifications mandatory.

Additional Information

Located in the central area north of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Medina, Saudi Arabia, this is a full-time non-management role requiring on-site presence.
