Job Overview
Emerson invites experienced Storekeepers to apply for a role that supports efficient warehouse and inventory management. The position focuses on ensuring precise receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished products while contributing to operational excellence and safety in the warehouse environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents to confirm quality and quantity standards.
- Manage receipt transactions, prepare and maintain accurate receiving records, and update inventory systems.
- Store materials appropriately, ensuring timely availability for internal use.
- Report any delivery issues, damage, or quality problems and assist with corrective measures.
- Continuously update inventory records, perform stock movements in system, and conduct cycle counts to guarantee inventory accuracy.
- Organize and secure the warehouse aligning with company standards, monitor storage conditions, and support inventory optimization efforts.
- Prepare and issue materials according to production plans and picking lists, supporting replenishment systems like Kanban.
- Adhere to all relevant quality assurance standards and accurately maintain related documentation.
- Package products conforming to Emerson and customer specifications, ensuring proper shipping documentation.
- Coordinate shipments and collaborate with freight forwarders and transport providers to secure timely deliveries.
- Enforce environmental, health, safety, and security regulations, promoting a hazard-aware and safe workplace.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a diploma, technical certificate, or vocational qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related area.
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse, inventory, stores, or logistics operations.
- Competent in English communication, both verbal and written.
- Qualified to operate material handling equipment safely, with relevant forklift or driving licenses if required.
Preferred Expertise
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or process automation sectors.
- Experience using ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of lean warehousing practices, Kanban replenishment, and continuous improvement processes.
- Understanding of valve products, industrial components, shipping documentation, or freight logistics.
