Role Summary

The Facility Supervisor position in Qatar is a temporary, on-site role responsible for managing daily operations and maintenance within the facility. This position involves supervising facility personnel and contractors to guarantee the proper upkeep and optimal functioning of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Daily duties include overseeing work orders, scheduling preventive maintenance, conducting safety and compliance inspections, and promptly addressing operational challenges. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to support production and office requirements, oversight of service providers, and strict compliance with Emerson's safety, quality, and environmental policies. Additionally, the supervisor maintains detailed facility performance records and contributes to process improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven leadership experience supervising facility or maintenance teams and managing contractor activities.
• Proficient in equipment maintenance including troubleshooting and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Expertise in facility management and operations, with a deep understanding of building systems and safety standards.
• Excellent communication capabilities for accurate reporting, stakeholder coordination, and professional instruction exchange.
• Beneficial to have a diploma or degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related discipline, preferably with experience in industrial or commercial environments.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to perform on-site duties in Qatar throughout the assignment duration.
