Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Retail Store Person to be an essential part of our team. This position involves supporting day-to-day retail operations, assisting customers in order collection, and maintaining smooth warehouse activities. It requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment and enthusiasm for teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully loading weekly delivery trucks and containers
• Facilitating customer order collections ensuring a pleasant experience
• Supporting retail sales staff with stock and product transfer to the shop floor
• Recording goods received accurately in the operating system
• Assembling furniture attentively and with quality workmanship
• Adhering to all occupational health and safety standards
• Maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and tidy store and warehouse environment
• Collaborating effectively as a team member, using initiative, solving problems, and managing a dynamic work setting

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in warehousing and distribution-related roles
• Proficiency with computer applications such as email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• A strong customer service orientation and goal-driven mindset
• Physical capability to handle furniture and various products safely
• Superior communication skills
• Dependable, proactive, and positive approach to work

This role entails frequent manual handling including lifting and moving items of diverse sizes; candidates must be fit to perform these duties safely.
