Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Retail Store Person to be a key operative behind the scenes supporting our retail operations at the West Gosford location. This role requires active involvement in both front-end and back-of-house tasks that ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the store environment.

Primary Duties

• Efficiently loading weekly deliveries including trucks and containers with care
• Helping customers collect their purchases ensuring a welcoming experience
• Facilitating stock and product movements for the sales team on the shop floor
• Accurately logging goods into our inventory systems
• Assembling furniture attentively to standards of quality and detail
• Adhering to and promoting workplace health and safety regulations
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store and warehouse environment
• Collaborating closely with team members, applying initiative, problem-solving, and managing fast-paced work demands

Essential Skills and Experience

• Background in warehousing and distribution roles similar to this position
• Competency in computer use, including email and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong commitment to customer service and achieving positive results
• Physical ability to handle and move furniture and other store products safely
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Dependable, proactive, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude

Additional Information

Because this position involves regular manual handling, applicants must be physically capable of performing duties that include lifting and moving various sized items safely. Candidates must be Australian citizens, residents, or hold a valid visa confirming the legal right to work in Australia.
