Job description

Role Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for supervising and directing all daily retail activities within the store. This includes overseeing visual merchandising, staff recruitment, employee training, scheduling, as well as managing inventory. The role ensures consistent adherence to the company's standards and policies throughout store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all aspects of store operations, guaranteeing compliance with company guidelines.
  • Lead, motivate, and nurture the store team to successfully reach company objectives.
  • Support merchandising efforts by assisting with stock replenishment and unpacking of goods daily.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while effectively addressing complex customer issues.
  • Maintain and uphold the visual merchandising standards within the store environment.
  • Ensure the store premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening and closing the store.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and allocate responsibilities to team members.
  • Oversee recruitment and manage employee performance within the store team.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Possess a minimum of two years' experience in retail operations along with managing teams.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Exemplary communication skills coupled with sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong leadership qualities paired with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and excel in a dynamic work environment.
