Position Overview
The Store Manager role involves overseeing the daily retail store activities to ensure smooth operations. This includes managing visual merchandising, recruiting, employee training, scheduling, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels. The manager guarantees that the store meets all company standards and policies.
Primary Duties
- Manage all store operations and enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Lead, inspire, and develop store personnel to meet and exceed objectives.
- Participate in merchandising efforts including stocking shelves and unpacking shipments.
- Provide outstanding customer service and adeptly handle complex customer concerns.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards to attract customers.
- Ensure the store's safety protocols and cleanliness are consistently followed.
- Handle cash operations including store opening and closing procedures.
- Offer constructive feedback and allocate responsibilities among team members.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations for store employees.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in retail management and team leadership roles.
- Availability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Excellent verbal communication and sound decision-making skills.
- Strong capabilities in leadership and problem-solving.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities effectively, and excel in a dynamic retail setting.
