Job description
Role Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily retail activities to ensure smooth operations. This includes managing visual merchandising, staff recruitment and training, scheduling, and inventory control. The role requires adherence to company standards and policies to ensure excellent customer experiences and effective store management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of store operations while ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
- Lead, inspire, and nurture store team members to meet business objectives.
- Participate in merchandising efforts, including stocking shelves and unpacking daily shipments.
- Provide outstanding customer service and resolve complex customer issues efficiently.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards throughout the store.
- Ensure the store environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.
- Handle cash management tasks including store opening and closing procedures.
- Give regular performance feedback and delegate responsibilities to team members.
- Oversee recruitment and performance management processes for store staff.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in retail management and team leadership.
- Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Strong communication skills and sound decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent leadership qualities and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize duties effectively, and excel in a fast-paced retail setting.
