Position Summary

The Store Manager in Training (SMIT) role is designed as a developmental opportunity to prepare candidates for future CVS Store Manager positions. Over 16 weeks, participants engage in a combination of self-directed and interactive training aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities.

Training and Support

This program includes both virtual learning and practical, hands-on experience. Throughout the training, candidates receive guidance from a supportive network comprising a District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and a Store Manager coach.

• Oversee inventory management and safeguard store assets to ensure profitability.

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to accept Store Manager promotions at any store within the assigned market area.
• Flexibility to transfer among CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated region.
• Availability to work variable schedules based on operational needs.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor is necessary.

Work Details

This is a full-time position requiring approximately 45 hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a base hourly wage ranging between $18.50 and $23.88, influenced by factors such as experience, education, and location.
