About the Role

Join CVS Health in shaping a healthier world by becoming a Store Manager In Training (SMIT), a position designed to prepare you for a leadership role as a Store Manager. This developmental program combines virtual learning and practical experience over 16 weeks, supported by a dedicated team including a District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and a Store Manager coach.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to guide and support your team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to meet high standards of care.
• Implement merchandising plans to help grow store sales.
• Oversee inventory and manage store assets to ensure profitability.
• Partner closely with leadership to engage in key learning experiences that facilitate your promotion within the program.
• Lead by example in alignment with CVS's values and policies as part of the management team.
• Motivate and engage colleagues in the company’s mission to support better health outcomes.

Candidate Expectations

• Commit actively to the development path and be open to promotions within your working market.
• Be prepared to relocate or transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market area if promoted.
• Maintain flexibility in your work schedule according to business demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, though relevant work experience can substitute for education requirements.
• Experience in retail management or a supervisory position at CVS is advantageous.

Work Hours and Compensation

• Expected to work approximately 45 hours per week in a full-time capacity.
• The typical hourly pay range is from $18.50 up to $23.88, depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
