Job description
Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all daily retail activities at the store, ensuring operational excellence in line with company standards. This includes coordinating visual merchandising, overseeing recruitment and employee training, scheduling shifts, and managing inventory effectively to provide a supportive environment for both staff and customers.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage entire store operations while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Lead and motivate the store team, fostering staff development and achievement of sales targets.
- Assist with the merchandising process, including stocking and unpacking daily shipments to maintain product availability.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and address complex customer issues effectively and professionally.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.
- Ensure store safety protocols and cleanliness are consistently upheld.
- Manage financial aspects such as cash handling and oversee store opening and closing routines.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback to staff and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Supervise hiring processes and manage employee performance evaluations.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years of experience in retail and team leadership roles.
- Availability to work during day, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Strong communication skills paired with sound decision-making capabilities.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
