Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of daily retail store activities including visual merchandising, hiring, training, staff scheduling, and inventory control. This role ensures that all store operations adhere to corporate standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of store operations ensuring full compliance with company regulations.
  • Lead and inspire store employees, fostering a motivated team environment to meet store objectives.
  • Support merchandising efforts including stock management and unpacking of daily shipments.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing and resolving complex customer issues efficiently.
  • Maintain store presentation by upholding visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensure the store is consistently safe and clean for both customers and staff.
  • Oversee cash handling processes along with opening and closing procedures of the store.
  • Provide constructive performance reviews and delegate tasks to staff members.
  • Conduct recruitment, hiring, and performance management activities for the store team.

Requirements for Success

  • A minimum of two years' experience managing retail operations and leading teams.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills coupled with sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and excel in a fast-paced setting.
