Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for directing and controlling daily retail store activities to ensure smooth operations and alignment with company policies. This role encompasses various duties such as visual merchandising, recruitment, staff training, scheduling, and inventory oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all operational aspects of the store, guaranteeing adherence to corporate guidelines.
- Lead, inspire, and nurture store employees to meet and exceed business objectives.
- Participate in merchandising efforts, including stocking merchandise and unpacking shipments.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards and effectively handle complex customer concerns.
- Maintain visual merchandising quality and consistency throughout the store.
- Guarantee store safety protocols are followed and premises are kept clean and orderly.
- Oversee cash handling procedures as well as store opening and closing activities.
- Provide constructive performance feedback and delegate tasks among team members.
- Oversee recruitment processes and staff performance evaluations.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess at least two years of experience in retail management and supervising teams.
- Must have flexible availability including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills paired with sound decision-making capabilities.
- Exemplary leadership qualities combined with effective problem-solving aptitude.
- Able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and stay productive in a fast-moving work environment.
