Role Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for directing all aspects of daily retail operations to ensure smooth functioning and alignment with company standards. Key duties include managing visual presentation, staff recruitment and training, scheduling, and inventory control.
Key Duties
- Supervise overall store operations while enforcing adherence to corporate policies.
- Lead and inspire the store team, driving them to meet performance objectives.
- Support merchandising efforts including stocking and unpacking merchandise shipments.
- Provide outstanding customer service, handling complex customer concerns professionally.
- Maintain high standards in visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Ensure the store environment is safe and clean at all times.
- Manage cash handling procedures, along with store opening and closure protocols.
- Deliver performance evaluations and assign daily tasks to team members.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and performance management processes for the store staff.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years of experience managing retail teams and store operations.
- Flexibility to work across various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills coupled with sound decision-making capability.
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving proficiency.
- Aptitude for managing multiple priorities and excelling in a fast-paced retail setting.
