Job description
Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for directing the daily operations of the retail outlet, ensuring alignment with company standards. This includes handling tasks such as visual merchandising, recruitment, staff training, scheduling, and managing inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all store activities while ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Lead and inspire the store team to meet and exceed set objectives.
- Support merchandising efforts including stocking and unpacking shipments received daily.
- Deliver superior customer service and effectively manage challenging situations.
- Maintain high standards for visual merchandising alongside store cleanliness and safety.
- Oversee cash handling, store opening, and closing procedures.
- Provide constructive feedback to staff and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Supervise recruitment and performance evaluation of employees.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least two years of experience in retail and leadership roles.
- Availability to work flexible hours including days, evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and sound decision-making capabilities.
- Leadership qualities combined with effective problem-solving skills.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic environment.
