Store Manager

About the Role

Panda Express, a leading American Chinese restaurant company, is seeking experienced leaders to lead individual store operations. This role requires managing all aspects of a single location, including team hiring, associate management, and achievement of financial and guest experience goals. To ensure your success, you will undergo a comprehensive paid leadership training lasting at least eight weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure the store meets financial targets.
• Recruit, train, and manage associates to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Create a positive work environment that motivates the team and drives store success.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and food safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Flexibility to relocate within 50 miles of home if necessary.
• Availability to work varied shifts including openings, closings, weekends, evenings, and holidays based on business needs.
• Current Serve Safe certification for food safety compliance.

Physical and Environmental Requirements (ADA Statement)

The role involves working in hot, fast-paced kitchen environments with exposure to steam, food vapors, and noise. Employees are generally required to stand for long periods, handle kitchen equipment including Chinese cook knives, lift up to 50 pounds, and reach across counters. Effective communication, adaptability to dynamic conditions, and conflict management skills are essential.
