Role Overview

As a Full-Time Steward at Four Seasons Whistler, you will play a key role in maintaining kitchen hygiene by washing dishes and glassware in a collaborative environment focused on consistency and care. This position suits individuals proud of their work, able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, and motivated to enhance their skills within a luxury hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machinery to clean and sanitize china, glassware, and silverware.
• Maintain sanitation standards for all key kitchen equipment and food and beverage areas.
• Clean and sanitize pots, pans, and various kitchen tools diligently.
• Manage and execute the silver polishing process.
• Handle cleaning supplies and chemicals securely and according to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling items up to 75 pounds.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene, and quality assurance standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and ability to quickly build rapport.
• Authorization to work legally in Canada.

Work Conditions and Expectations

• Expect periods of high activity demanding focus and meticulous attention to detail.
• Work schedules are aligned with operational needs and include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Role requires physical activity within a structured, team-based kitchen environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranges from $25.50 to $27.05.
