Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, high-performance, customer-focused software solutions.
• Deliver significant features and improvements independently, collaborating on larger team projects.
• Address the most challenging technical problems within the team’s scope.
• Transform strategic business requirements into detailed software designs and effectively communicate these to peers.
• Conduct thorough code and design reviews, advocating for high standards in code quality and testing.
• Lead the technical roadmap and architecture decisions for the team.
• Mentor junior engineers to foster their growth and help eliminate obstacles to their productivity.
• Serve as the technical lead for your pod or team, spearheading major initiatives.
• Engage with business and technical leaders to innovate strategies enhancing revenue and accelerating scalability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• More than 8 years of professional programming experience.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in work.
• Experience scaling products from initial stages to broad adoption (1 to 100+ scale).
• Familiarity with technologies including Python, Django, React, MongoDB, AWS, and GoLang is preferred.
• Capacity to thrive in uncertain environments by proactively identifying and addressing impactful areas.
• Strong passion for solving genuine customer challenges.
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable distributed systems.
• Proven track record of building critical platform components that enable rapid product scalability.
• Bonus: Experience working on marketplace platforms is advantageous.
