About the Role

Join RF360 Singapore Pte., Ltd. as a Staff Facility Engineer specialized in Electrical systems within the Facilities & Security Group. This role emphasizes leadership in safe and compliant operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical infrastructure in high-volume manufacturing semiconductor facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead safe and compliant operation and upkeep of electrical infrastructure, including development and control of standard operating procedures and managing changes effectively.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Environmental Health & Safety teams to ensure regulatory compliance and audit preparedness.
  • Conduct risk and safety management programs such as FMEA, Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), arc flash prevention, and permit management.
  • Drive root cause analyses for electrical disturbances and oversee predictive and preventive maintenance to enhance system reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Plan and manage electrical load distribution, ensuring proper feeder loading with redundancy and diversity; oversee the approval of designs and supervise safe commissioning activities.
  • Define criteria and oversee testing during project acceptance and commissioning phases, managing vendors to ensure proper documentation closure including operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Monitor power quality and implement mitigations including use of filters, SEMI F47 ride-through capability, and UPS tuning.
  • Lead energy efficiency initiatives such as transformer optimization, UPS efficiency improvements, reduction of busway losses, and analysis through smart metering.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 6 or more years of relevant experience in wafer fab or semiconductor environments.
  • Equivalent experience accepted: Associate's degree plus 6+ years experience; advanced degrees can substitute up to 2 years of experience.
  • Background in high-volume electronics manufacturing within multinational corporations or semiconductor industries.
  • Direct experience within wafer fabrication facilities is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency with software including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong organizational abilities, leadership qualities, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving using methodologies such as cause-and-effect analysis and the 5 Whys technique.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong commitment, being resourceful, innovative, and self-motivated.
