About Ability Action Australia

Ability Action Australia is a prominent NDIS provider, delivering essential care to over 10,000 participants annually. Job Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload within community settings including homes, schools, and outreach venues.
  • Provide support across all life stages, from early intervention and paediatrics to adolescents and adults.
  • Address varied needs such as feeding, early language development, dysphagia, communication challenges, and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication).
  • Carry out observations and standardized assessments to create participant-focused goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing communication, participation, and autonomy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize participant outcomes.
  • Tailor caseload assignments to align with your expertise, interests, and career objectives.

Qualifications and Expectations

  • Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) is required.
  • Demonstrated passion for community-based support for individuals with disabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
