Ability Action Australia is a national NDIS provider offering Allied Health services across more than 300 locations nationwide. Services include Occupational and Speech Therapy, Behaviour Support, Psychology, Exercise Physiology, and Physiotherapy, supporting thousands of community participants.
Position Overview
We are seeking Occupational Therapists based in Melbourne with at least two years of experience who desire flexible and meaningful work. Opportunities are available in Caroline Springs, Bundoora, and Dandenong. The role involves assisting NDIS participants to thrive in their daily environments such as home, school, work, or community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload that may be mobile or clinic-based with flexible scheduling options.
- Conduct assessments, develop plans, and deliver interventions grounded in evidence-based practices.
- Advise on environmental adaptations and assistive technologies to enhance participant independence.
- Support participants to maximize daily life engagement, incorporating positive interpersonal interactions.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Possess a minimum of two years' work experience in Occupational Therapy.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Have a passion for supporting individuals within the disability sector.
