Job Overview

This role involves performing specialized surface treatment processes such as thermal spray and GEL coating on gas turbines and aero-derivative engine components to support repair and maintenance operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute thermal spraying and GEL coating processes as part of engine repair workflows.
• Adhere to detailed work instructions for tasks including blasting, polishing, heat treating, and other manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain product quality by following standards and ensuring proper handling and upkeep of tools and machinery.
• Keep production timelines and workspace cleanliness to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Observe and comply with all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, promptly reporting unsafe practices or conditions.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement activities within the workshop environment.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of secondary education or an equivalent qualification.
• Possession of NTC, ITE certification, or a similar technical credential is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in thermal spray, coating, manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, or turbine repair fields is beneficial but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend and execute work instructions, safety protocols, and production documentation accurately.
• Availability to work in a rotating shift schedule.
• Structured on-the-job training will be provided for candidates lacking relevant prior experience.
