Spa Therapist

About the Role

You will deliver massage services using specialized props and products, along with body treatments like scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy to our guests. Assess individual guest requirements and health considerations such as allergies, high blood pressure, or pregnancy prior to treatment. Stay informed on the latest techniques within the field. Escort guests to and from treatment spaces and prepare the workstation and treatment rooms including draping arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Regularly check on guest comfort, ensuring safety throughout their service experience.
• Encourage and facilitate spa and salon service sales including in-house retail products.
• Maintain hygiene by cleaning and sterilizing all tools and workspace continuously during your shift and properly storing supplies after hours.
• Manage time effectively to adhere to daily schedules.
• Address any inappropriate guest conduct by following established protocols, escalating issues to supervisors if necessary.
• Maintain all necessary licensures and certifications in compliance with regional regulations.
• Report workplace accidents or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.
• Comply fully with company policies, uphold a professional personal appearance and confidentiality standards, and safeguard company assets.
• Warmly welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and express sincere appreciation at departure.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Foster positive workplace relationships.
• Engage in physical activities including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and manipulating objects up to 10 pounds with precision.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma.
• A minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
• Possession of a valid state or regional massage license or certification is mandatory.
• No supervisory experience required.
