Role Overview
The Solutions Engineering team partners with current and prospective clients to provide technical workshops and training on BitGo's portfolio of products and services, guiding clients through the technical phases from sales to onboarding. This position, based in Singapore, will focus on fostering strong client relationships across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical and product demonstrations throughout pre-sales and post-sales processes, including workshops, solution design, and executive presentations.
- Maintain ongoing relationships by comprehensively understanding clients' business needs, expectations, and technical environments.
- Collaborate with Executive Directors, Product Management, and Engineering to influence and contribute to product feature development.
- Serve as a client advocate, delivering insightful feedback to internal teams to enhance offerings.
- Clearly communicate client needs to sales teams to support customer engagement.
- Possess strong technical expertise to articulate API functions and build compelling technical demonstrations.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Programming, or a related discipline.
- Minimum five years in client-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or related fields.
- At least five years of experience working within blockchain, cryptocurrency, financial services, banking, payment processing, or trading domains.
- Demonstrated track record in both pre-sales and post-sales roles, managing client engagements and project leadership.
- Experience working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to prepare RFIs, RFPs, and technical proposals.
Technical Competencies
- Comprehensive understanding of technical concepts such as web services, platform-as-a-service (PaaS), software-as-a-service (SaaS), APIs, and software development kits (SDKs).
- Hands-on development skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and related web technologies.
Professional Skills
- Exemplary professionalism highly respected by clients and colleagues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage and exercise sound professional judgment.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
- Additional proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean is advantageous.
