Role Summary

The Solutions Architect will focus on delivering architectural design and implementation expertise for cloud-centric insurance solutions. This role entails direct engagement with clients to analyze needs, design custom solutions, and support business initiatives aligned with strategic roadmaps. While being technology-agnostic, the role emphasizes AWS and GCP cloud environments, incorporating open-source technologies, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) components.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to capture their requirements and recommend appropriate architectures.
• Partner with Product Managers to align solution design with client needs.
• Coordinate with Delivery Managers to guide the architecture during deployment phases.
• Explore innovative and varied design alternatives to maximize solution effectiveness.
• Ensure implementation fidelity per client expectations and company standards.
• Support selection and specification of off-the-shelf components when needed.
• Provide continuous client support through the implementation lifecycle.
• Stay informed on industry trends and new technologies to enhance solutions.

Essential Skills and Expertise

• Minimum six years in solution architecture and delivery within the insurance sector across multiple business lines.
• Proven experience delivering cloud-based product solutions within enterprise settings.
• Capability to assist in defining and communicating product and enterprise roadmaps.
• Translate business requirements into detailed solution designs.
• Understanding of business architecture frameworks and patterns.
• Track record of innovative problem solving and practical solution implementation.
• Balance creative thinking with realistic business constraints.
• Expertise in designing high availability and scalable cloud applications.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL database solution architectures.
• Proficiency in architecting API-driven and microservices environments.
• Self-driven learner of emerging technologies and trends.
• Familiarity with low-code platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple development languages and database engines is advantageous.
• Understanding of authentication/authorization mechanisms such as Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and identity federation.
• Strong written and oral communication ability.
