About the Role

We are seeking a Software Specialist focused on testing to enhance quality, reliability, and operational excellence across various technology platforms. The position involves collaborating within two Modern Integration squads to design and implement automated testing solutions targeting APIs, SDKs, integrations, platforms, and distributed systems. This hands-on technical leadership role requires shaping testing strategies, creating automation frameworks and tools, influencing engineering methodologies, and advancing quality engineering standards across our platform ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Create automated test solutions for APIs, SDKs, integrations, platforms, and distributed systems.
• Develop reusable C# based automation frameworks, tools, and quality enhancers.
• Integrate automated validations within CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
• Establish testing strategies, quality benchmarks, release readiness metrics, and risk-based testing approaches.
• Promote platform quality, operational preparedness, and observability checks.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve developer experience, advance automation capabilities, and refine testing methods.
• Offer mentorship to engineers and advocate quality engineering best practices within teams.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a senior quality engineering expert with extensive automation and platform testing experience, excelling in complex engineering settings and supporting software engineers and platform teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development and automation framework creation using C#.
• Hands-on expertise in testing APIs, SDKs, integrations, platforms, and distributed systems.
• Proven skills developing scalable C# automation frameworks, tools, and quality accelerators.
• Proficiency with GitHub workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality gates.
• Experience formulating and applying test strategies, quality standards, risk-focused testing methods, release readiness assessments, and quality reporting.
• Strong DevOps and platform engineering perspective emphasizing automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with observability concepts such as telemetry, logging, monitoring, alerting, SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and ensuring operational readiness.
• Knowledge of cloud-native systems and modern engineering practices including Kubernetes, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
• Worked within agile, cross-functional teams delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and capability to influence technical decisions promoting quality engineering.
• Passionate about mentoring and enhancing engineering team capabilities.

Desirable Attributes

• Background in banking or financial services.
• Exposure to large-scale modernization or transformation projects, including legacy system migration or evolution.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent quality engineering credential.
