About the Opportunity

Join ASB Bank as a Customer Specialist within our Direct Channels Contact Centre located in Christchurch at the South Island Regional Centre. This role focuses on delivering exceptional support to customers across New Zealand, enhancing their banking experience by providing solutions and addressing inquiries. You will be an integral part of the team that ensures banking is straightforward and accessible.

Role Responsibilities

As a Customer Specialist, your day-to-day duties include assisting customers with their banking requirements, resolving problems, and creating smooth and easy interactions that positively impact customer satisfaction. You will engage with diverse clients, using empathy and problem-solving skills to ensure each experience is excellent.

Additional Requirements and Conditions

  • Applicants must be available for a one-day Assessment Centre on 7 October 2026 at ASB's South Island Regional Centre from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
  • Selected candidates should be prepared to commence employment on 23 November 2026.
  • The role requires participation in a 12-week onsite full-time training and induction program, Monday to Friday.
  • This position follows a 40-hour weekly roster with shifts scheduled between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm on weekdays and 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on weekends and public holidays.
