We are seeking a People Systems Analyst to take ownership of a People system portfolio, ensuring alignment, strong governance, and delivering tangible value to the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves adopting a product management mindset to oversee and evolve People systems. Core duties include maintaining system configuration and functional designs, managing and prioritising system enhancements and defect fixes according to business value and risk, owning the backlog to drive delivery outcomes, reviewing system workflows and designs, coordinating testing including user acceptance testing (UAT) and readiness activities, collaborating closely with Technology teams and vendors to implement effective solutions, supporting steady business-as-usual operations while managing changes efficiently, and proactively identifying and controlling risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
Required Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate balances technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement. Required experience includes working with People systems such as Cornerstone, SnapHire, SAP SuccessFactors, or equivalents, and exposure to case management or workflow platforms like ServiceNow HRSD or similar. Familiarity with enterprise data structures, reporting, and data quality controls is essential. Core competencies include analytical thinking to translate business requirements into effective system solutions; ability to prioritise workload based on value, risk, and operational effect; experience managing backlogs and coordinating UAT; confidence in working across multiple stakeholders including technology teams and vendors; excellent communication skills capable of conveying complex system concepts plainly; and a thorough understanding of system design, workflows, and the wider impacts across systems.
