Role Overview
Join Trimble's innovative Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies division as a Software Engineering Team Lead in Christchurch. This role involves leading a skilled team that develops cutting-edge software solutions combining embedded Linux and web technologies to control heavy machinery in construction.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide mentorship and career development to a small team of software engineers and testers.
- Lead technical efforts in embedded Linux and web applications development utilizing C++, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Remove development impediments and facilitate collaboration across international CTCT sites to enhance software delivery processes.
- Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure timely delivery of features supporting earthmoving and paving machinery.
Required Expertise
- Experience as a senior or lead software engineer with project ownership from initiation to rollout.
- Proficiency with C++ and/or modern web development frameworks.
- Strong analytical thinking and proactive problem solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage projects efficiently in fast-paced, multi-timezone environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience coordinating with globally distributed engineering teams.
