Product Lead - Field-to-Cloud Data Interoperability

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the product vision and strategy focusing on data interoperability solutions within the Trimble and Caterpillar ecosystems.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to convert customer insights into clear product specifications and API integrations.
• Lead multiple project initiatives, mentor team members, and nurture strong partnerships with stakeholders.
• Design data integration frameworks that ensure data integrity, security, and alignment with desired business outcomes.
• Track industry trends and platform assimilation to continuously enhance the product strategy and customer value proposition.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated product management, platform development, or technical account management experience with Cloud or IoT solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of API governance, integration technologies, and concepts related to data transformation.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex requirements into actionable strategies.
• Leadership competencies including team guidance, stakeholder influence, and navigating complex organizational structures.

Additional Advantages

• Familiarity with automotive or construction data sharing standards and compliance regulations.
• Experience with machine control systems or grade control technology platforms.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time, on-site role is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, at our engineering center home to over 450 employees. Facilities include free parking, a fully equipped gym, showers, changing rooms, table tennis, and an active social club fostering an engaging workplace culture. Travel is estimated at 10-15%.
