Sales Engineer - Civil and Structural Solutions

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven Structural Sales Engineer to accelerate digital transformation within the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors. This role involves collaborating with leading enterprise clients in the region to overcome complex engineering challenges by developing inventive technical solutions. You will influence Singapore and Malaysia's civil infrastructure and building lifecycle management through impactful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and present advanced presales demos and proofs-of-concept featuring Tekla, Powerfab, and Trimble Connect products.
• Collaborate with prospective customers to uncover critical pain points and develop tailored implementation strategies.
• Drive major pilot initiatives to establish our building information modeling offerings in strategic projects.
• Expand technical reach into civil and linear infrastructure markets using platforms such as Quadri and Novapoint.
• Work closely with sales teams to identify and pursue cross-selling and up-selling potentials within assigned accounts.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or related equivalent.
• Deep understanding of structural analysis, design principles, and industry-standard workflows.
• Demonstrated experience in technical presales, solution development, or implementation of software projects.
• Familiarity with civil design software and sophisticated structural detailing tools.
• Strong ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and translate them into business value.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional proficiency in Mandarin and/or Bahasa is advantageous to support a multilingual client base effectively.

Additional Details

• Location: Office-based in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Travel commitments up to 35% of the time.
