NVIDIA is globally acclaimed for spearheading innovation in Artificial Intelligence (AI), High-Performance Computing (HPC), and Visualization, transforming various industries with cutting-edge technologies including GPUs. The Vietnam R&D Center is expanding its leadership to accelerate efforts in AI data and factory platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, guide, and grow premier engineering teams in Vietnam, working alongside global system software, data science, and AI platform teams.
• Lead architectural design and delivery of high-performance system software platforms fueling NVIDIA’s AI offerings.
• Collaborate with Machine Learning, Inference Services, and Hardware/Software integration teams worldwide to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage development and enhancement of AI delivery platforms such as NIMs, Blueprints, and other flagship NVIDIA solutions in Vietnam.
• Engage with open-source projects and enterprise data/workflow systems (e.g., Temporal, Gitlab DevOps, RAPIDS, NeMo Curator, Morpheus) to support AI factory, data science, and data engineering workloads.
• Promote continuous integration, delivery practices, and engineering excellence across multiple R&D sites.
• Work closely with product management and stakeholders to assure enterprise readiness and impactful customer outcomes.
• Design and implement standardized large-scale system testing protocols including stress, scalability, failover, resilience, security, and compliance assessments for cloud and data center products.
• Mentor and nurture talent, fostering a culture centered on quality and ongoing improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
• More than 15 years in software engineering with at least 6 years holding senior leadership positions.
• Demonstrated success managing sizable, high-performance software groups with complex AI/ML or data-centric product delivery.
• Proficient in cloud technologies, data platforms, and accelerated computing tools such as Spark, Kubernetes, Dask, Python frameworks, and CUDA.
• Experienced in collaborating with open-source communities and business partners.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-team coordination abilities.
• Strategic thinker with practical technical expertise in AI, system software, or large distributed data systems.

Preferred Attributes

• Track record in developing and scaling AI/ML inferencing platforms from inception to production.
• GPU programming experience including CUDA optimizations and system performance engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of microservices, distributed architectures, and high-performance data systems.
• Contributions to open-source initiatives or developer communities.
• Familiarity with deep learning concepts, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector embeddings, and modern text search technologies.
