Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build resilient software to improve system reliability and operational performance.
• Create and maintain automation frameworks for deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows to minimize manual processes.
• Continuously monitor system health, anticipate potential issues, and resolve complex production problems efficiently.
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network management as code to support applications and platforms.
• Utilize service level indicators and objectives proactively to identify and address issues before they affect customers.
• Partner with development teams and other stakeholders to improve overall system scalability and reliability.
• Maintain thorough documentation, engage in knowledge sharing, and contribute to technology communities and best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or related technical roles.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), application resiliency strategies, and security principles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java with Spring Boot, or .NET.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring technologies including Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and container orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Good grasp of networking principles and troubleshooting techniques.
• Effective communication skills, capable of working collaboratively or autonomously.
• A proactive mindset for anticipating challenges combined with enthusiasm for continuous learning and innovation.
