Role Overview

The Customer Tribe at ASB collaborates to automate processes using specialized software such as Pega. This team of dedicated experts focuses on simplifying experiences for both ASB employees and customers through intelligent automation.

In the role of Software Consultant, you will engage in technical development for various Pega Platform projects throughout the tribe, aiming to innovate banking practices by leveraging intelligent automation, AI-driven engineering, and delivering outstanding customer journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and replace outdated processes with smooth, smart digital workflows.
• Architect and implement enterprise-grade solutions utilizing contemporary Pega frameworks.
• Apply AI, GenAI, and engineering accelerators to enhance efficiency and intelligence of outcomes.
• Design superior experiences for both customers and frontline staff members.
• Drive transformation initiatives across banking services such as onboarding, loans, fraud prevention, payments, and customer service.
• Work closely with diverse teams to develop robust technical solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Hold Pega Lead Systems Architect certification coupled with 8-10+ years in Pega development and at least 2 years functioning at the Lead System Architect tier.
• Extensive experience in creating and deploying large-scale Pega solutions within complex environments.
• In-depth understanding of Pega Constellation, AI capabilities, GenAI technologies, and modern system design.
• Skillful in integrating Pega platforms with enterprise systems via REST APIs, Kafka, and other connectivity methods.
• Proven leadership abilities to mentor technical teams and enforce engineering best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in team settings.
