Senior Software Project Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of software development projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet both business and technical objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from project initiation through deployment and ongoing support.
• Establish clear project scope, timelines, budget constraints, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate and manage interdisciplinary teams including Developers, Quality Assurance, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers.
• Implement and promote Agile and Scrum methodologies, facilitating sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, handle project risks, address issues, and manage dependencies.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, thorough documentation, and compliance with industry best practices.
• Monitor project progress using KPIs, generate status reports, and uphold governance standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Between six to eight years of experience managing software development projects.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum as well as Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Demonstrated success managing projects involving web and mobile applications, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
• Practical experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalents.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Certifications like PMP or CSM are advantageous.
• Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication abilities, and adept problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Background in healthcare or enterprise system projects is desirable.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle, DevOps practices, and Quality Assurance procedures.
