Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Software Development Director to head our global software engineering division. This role involves spearheading significant technical projects and managing several development teams responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and innovative solutions used by millions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement engineering strategies aligned with overarching company goals, ensuring architectural soundness and organizational scalability.
- Lead and mentor diverse engineering teams worldwide, including team leads and senior engineers, fostering clear goal-setting and professional growth.
- Guarantee the on-time, high-quality delivery of product and platform projects, continuously refining workflows and development approaches.
- Drive system architecture development emphasizing scalability, performance, and maintainability, advocating for modern technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and executive teams to align priorities and maintain a shared technical roadmap.
- Detect and mitigate risks throughout the development lifecycle, promoting excellence in observability, security, testing, and release procedures.
- Cultivate a culture of high performance, transparency, continual enhancement, and shared dedication to quality and innovation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 10 years in software development with at least 5 years in leadership positions overseeing engineering teams.
- Demonstrated success managing large, multidisciplinary teams in fast-growing, complex environments.
- Expertise in modern software architectures, cloud infrastructures such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and microservices design.
- Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), and leveraging engineering metrics effectively.
- Experienced in directing geographically distributed teams and expanding organizational scale across multiple locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient decision-making and problem-solving abilities under high-pressure situations.
- Fluent English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in gaming, fintech, or platform-as-a-service sectors.
- Knowledge of payments systems, public-facing APIs, or developer-oriented tools.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certifications related to cloud services, Agile frameworks, or technical leadership.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a salary range of $140,000 to $160,000 annually.
