Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Site Engineer based in the Cork area. The successful candidate will oversee construction quality, ensuring all activities adhere to relevant regulations and project-specific requirements, collaborating closely with site teams to achieve top-tier project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting site setting-out per engineering drawings, surveys, and as-built documentation.
  • Interpreting and reading plans related to layout and material measurements.
  • Coordinating and working alongside subcontractors and general site workforce.
  • Efficiently planning work to meet project timelines and targets.
  • Engaging with client representatives and design team members when needed.
  • Upholding strict health and safety standards throughout site operations.
  • Ensuring all work meets high-quality benchmarks.
  • Managing ordering and inventory control of on-site materials.
  • Maintaining accurate and required site records.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Possession of a tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years post-qualification experience in site engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities along with clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-driven with a focus on safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
  • Proficient IT skills relevant to site engineering tasks.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid full driving license is required.
